George Street Furnishers have evolved and grown over the years along with the city. Our company was founded in Newport in 1951, and today our flagship Newport store occupies over 65,000 square feet of retail space over multiple floors.
The store is the largest furniture showroom in Wales, and has a large dedicated car park for our customers. Visitors can browse our extensive leather department, a huge range of top brand beds, and a massive selection of sofas, furniture, flooring and bedroom furniture.
The store also has a number of concessions, including water beds, bathrooms, curtains, and kitchens. There is even an in-store coffee shop, so you can take a break from exploring our ranges and relax with a hot drink and a snack.
Most important of all, the Newport store has a brilliant team of trained staff on hand to assist you with any guidance or advice you might need.
